I deserve the best!!

An exercise to get the best – taken from the book – “I Love Myself’ Workbook

Naran

Ask the questions…

1. What is your purchase behavior?
2. Do you go for cheap and best?
3. Or only for the best?

Analyze your attitudes behind your purchasing habits

The funny thing is both are opposites. If you want something cheaper then you won’t get the best. Likewise, if you want the best then you won’t get it cheap either.

When will you deserve best?

I deserve the best means then you should not be influenced by anybody else’s decision. When will “I deserve the best” happen?

First, you have to find out when you give something, whether you give it without any inhibition.

4. Ask the question before you give, “Am I giving this without any inhibition?”

We discriminate in our treatment to others

When we attend a wedding, we give some presentation. Whatever we have in our house, we pack it and give it. There is so much inhibition in giving what we have received from somebody else.

Even there we may differentiate from one person to another. Like for example, we might have decided in the mind that this should be given to Mr. A, while we should give something else to Mrs. B. We also quantify while giving, like so much to Mr. A and so much to Mrs. B.

However, we should not do either of them.

Why we don’t deserve the best

Suppose we have some costly item like a silver vessel. We think that it may cost Rs.1000. But, when you weigh the vessel, we find the value to be Rs.5000. So we think this person does not deserve this much costly and therefore we will buy him something else. If these behaviors are present in us then we will not get the best and we do not deserve the best.

How to be deserving for the best

While giving, you must give with full heart. These are the tests given by the Divine. If someone asks money we must give it. But at that time we may not have so much money. At that time you may not be in a position to give him money. Then give him Reiki.

The beggar is not asking for the money, but the divine is…

The beggar may beg for some money from you. The auto driver may demand money from you. There is no difference between the two. If he asks Rs.150 for a trip then give him as the Universe wants the money to go from your hand. Instead, if you hold the amount, eventually you may have to spend 10 times the money in a different way.

Whenever it has to be given, give it. It is not the auto driver who is asking the money, it is not the beggar who is begging for the money. On the other hand, to balance between receiving and giving the Universe is asking from you.

If you develop this kind of attitude, giving will not become prohibitive to you. You will give easily and there will not be any blocks inside you.

Giving on a No-cost Basis

If we have to give at any cost then we can send Reiki by chanting “I AM SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME LOVE THANKS DIVINE”.

However, do not allow others to exploit you

Giving does not mean that you should allow others to cheat you. If someone asks for donation, use your discretion. For paying the auto driver, when you travel occasionally by auto, then do not fight with him, but give him whatever he demands.

Intention is not to Acquire Money

ABC

I like your blog. In fact, I wait for new articles but I feel something to say.

My aim is not to hurt anyone but when I read something like ‘We want share from in-laws to purchase property and please tell us some mantra’, I wanted to ask the questions.

After taking their share, you know, in these times, who does care for the parents? How could you know their intention?

Naran

Very interesting question!

I need not know the intention. The suggestion of any mantra or Bach flower remedies is not to get the share or what one wants. By chanting the mantra or words, one evolves mentally to have a higher perception.

Let us see the comment below, where they want a share of their in-laws property.

Ms. G

Currently we are facing plenty of problems in our rented house. I need my husband’s share from my in-laws to purchase one on our own. Please suggest remedies so that in-laws should give our share whole-heartedly themselves.

Naran

Chant ‘BALSAM, CHICORY’ as many times as possible

The reasons for giving those remedies were:

By chanting Balsam and Chicory, our hearts will open up by going beyond material possessions. As a by-product, one might get their due share too.

Why we need to heal the person instead of directly helping them to acquire their share?

If they don’t get healed then they will face a similar situation in the future or in their next life-time(s). By healing themselves, they will avoid such situations.

When Prahaladha asked Lord Narayanan to give him the blessings of chanting the name of Narayanan always, he was given that blessing along with the boon that his past seven generations as well as his future generations will attain Moksha (heaven). On top of that, he was given the boon to rule his kingdom for 10,000 years.

This is my intention – to heal the person. The rest of the material aspects will follow them automatically, without fail. However, that is not my Intention!!!

Learn how the Lord works!!!

Don’t forget to read till the last line please!!!

Once there was a sweeper in the Well Known temple and he was very sincere and devoted. Every time he saw thousands of devotees coming to take darshan of the Lord, he thought that the Lord is standing all the time and giving darshan and He must be feeling very tired. So one day very innocently he asked the Lord whether he can take the place of the Lord for a day so that the Lord can have some relief and rest. The Deity of Temple replied, “I do not mind taking a break. I will transform you like myself, but you must do one thing. You must just stand here like me, smile at everyone and just give benedictions. Do not interfere with anything and do not say anything. Remember you are the deity and you just have faith that I have a master plan for everything.” The sweeper agreed to this.

The next day the sweeper took the position of the deity and a rich man came and prayed to the Lord. He offered a nice donation and prayed that his business should be prosperous. While going, the rich man inadvertently left his wallet full of money right there. Now the sweeper in the form of deity could not call him and so he decided to control himself and keep quiet.

Just then a poor man came and he put one coin in the Hundi and said that it was all he could afford and he prayed to the Lord that he should continue to be engaged in the Lord’s service. He also said that his family was in dire need of some basic needs but he left it to the good hands of the Lord to give some solution. When he opened his eyes, he saw the wallet left by the rich man. The poor man thanked the Lord for His kindness and took the wallet very innocently. The sweeper in the form of the Deity could not say anything and he had to just keep smiling.

At that point a sailor walked in. He prayed for his safe journey as he was going on a long trip. Just then the rich man came with the police and said that somebody has stolen his wallet and seeing the sailor there, he asked the police to arrest him thinking that he might have taken it. Now the sweeper in the form of Deity wanted to say that the sailor is not the thief and he could not say and he was greatly frustrated. The sailor looked at the Lord and asked why he an innocent person is being punished. The rich man looked at the Lord and thanked Him for finding the thief. The sweeper in the deity form could no more tolerate and he thought that even if the real Lord had been here, he would have definitely interfered and hence he started speaking and said that the sailor is not the thief but it was the poor man who took away the wallet. The rich man was very thankful as also the sailor.

In the night, the real Lord came and He asked the sweeper how the day was. The sweeper said, “I thought it would be easy, but now I know that your days are not easy, but I did one good thing.” Then he explained the whole episode to the Lord. The Lord became very upset on hearing this whereas the sweeper thought the Lord would appreciate him for the good deed done.

The Lord asked, “Why did you not just stick to the plan? You had no faith in me. Do you think that I do not understand the hearts of all those who come here? All the donation which the rich man gave was all stolen money and it is only a fraction of what he really has and he wants me to reciprocate unlimitedly. The single coin offered by the poor man was the last coin he was having and he gave it to me out of faith. The sailor might not have done anything wrong, but if the sailor were to go in the ship that night he was about to die because of bad weather and instead if he is arrested he would be in the jail and he would have been saved form a greater calamity. The wallet should go to the poor man because he will use it in my service. I was going to reduce the rich man’s karma also by doing this and save the sailor also. But you cancelled everything because you thought you know my plan and you made your own plans.”

God has plans and justice for everyone….we just have to have patience…………

 – From an email sent by MM Elango

We always do everything partially. We believe in God. We have trust in God. We have bakthi.  But nothing is total. We say we are surrendering. Only one part of the mind surrenders. The other parts will doubt and prevent our total surrender.

When we have total surrender we accept what is happening and when we accept instead of resisting, God’s plan is revealed. When you totally surrender, you will not question anything but witness anything that is happening.

Is it possible to reach that stage? I don’t know. But we have to try and keep on trying.

Daily Pray, “Let all parts of my mind surrender”. With this intention, chant the mantra, “Om Hum Namaha”. Hum is the bija mantra which will make one to surrender to god. All the inflexible resisting doubting parts will join the surrendering part.

When you wake up in the morning say, “This is the God-given day. Whatever I do, I do it for him.”

Mullah was sad one day…

A Story about Happiness and of course Sadness…!!!

His friend asked him, “Why are you sad?”

Mullah replied, “My uncle died a month ago. He has willed his property to me. I just thought about it and feel sad”.

“What a fool you are? He was eighty when he died. Moreover, all his property is yours now. Instead of being happy, why should you feel sad and weep?”

“No! No! The matter is different. Last week, another uncle of mine died and he also has written his property in my name”.

“So what. Now, you should be doubly happy. He is also as old as this uncle. There is nothing to mourn or loathe. Cheer up yourself”.

“Shall I tell you one more thing?”

“Please go ahead”.

“My grand father who was ninety years old died yesterday, after giving Rs. 2 lakhs to me”.

Greatly angered the friend replied, “I don’t understand the reason for your sadness then”.

Wiping his tears, Mullah said, “All my rich relatives had died. Now, there is nobody among my relatives old enough to die and give his property to me”.

This is the mentality of a negative (Bach Flower) Gentian person. His mind is not happy about what he gets. The Gentian mind feels sad about what he has not got.
