Rama to be crowned

Dasaratha, the King of Ayodhya, decided to install his son Sri Rama as the Crown Prince. All the people whole-heartedly accepted it. The whole of Ayodhya went into rapturous joy. Singing and dancing, all were discussing about Rama becoming the King.

While the whole world was happy and celebrating, there was darkness in one chamber. It was Kaikeyi’s. She is the second wife of Dasaratha.

Kaikeyi Passes the Evil Message to Rama

Rama got the message that Dasaratha wanted to meet him. So he hurried to Kaikeyi’s Apartment. He sensed the tension in the silent chamber. Rama saw his father. Beside him Kaikeyi stood like an evil spirit.

Rama prostrated at the feet of Dasaratha. Then he moved towards Kaikeyi, who moved away from him like an insane person. The king did not speak a word. His eyes were shedding tears and remaining shut. He just said “Rama” in a broken voice and tears escaped from his eyes.

Rama was confused. He said to Kaikeyi, “Have I done anything to annoy my father? Or is he unwell? I should not ask this – did you both quarreled?”

Kaikeyi said, “There is nothing wrong with you. He wanted to tell you something but he dare not. Therefore, I will tell you. Long before, your father gave me two boons. Last night when I asked him to honour it, he was not ready.”

Rama wondered at the harshness of Kaikeyi. There was so much malice in her tone. She said “Rama, if you can fulfill your father’s promises. I will tell you what I asked him for”.

“Why do you ask me? I will do anything to keep my father’s word. I will honour it – whatever it may be”.

Kaikeyi said “I want Bharatha to be crowned, instead of you. You should spend fourteen years in the forest, dressed like a rishi”.

Rama Agrees to Honour His Father’s Words

Without a moment of hesitation, Rama said,” Yes definitely I will go to the forest. Why is there such a conflict over this? Please send messengers at once to bring Bharatha. I am happy to see Bharatha crowned.”

Kaikeyi said in a cold voice, “Leave that to me. When Bharatha comes, you need not be here. As long as you are here, your father will not crown Bharatha. The sooner you leave, the better it is.”

Dasaratha swooned. Rama sprang to him. Now Rama’s eyes were full and he said quietly, “Father, you have not understood me. You could have asked me yourself. I would have gone happily then. It pains me that you have doubted my love for you. I will go at once. I will not come back for 14 years. I just want to see my mother Kaushalya and convince her that this is not a tragedy but a divine order. For me, the god’s grace has unfolded in this manner.”

Then he touched Kaikeyi’s feet and quickly walked out of the room. Behind him, he heard his father break down calling “Rama” several times and sobbing like a child.

Lakshmana Gets Angry

Lakshmana who accompanied Rama became angry and hot tears came out of him like a river. Rama just put his hand around his shoulders and consoled him.

His face became more radiant. There was no sorrow and no disappointment on his face now. Determination and the will to do anything vibrated through him. He became more handsome.

Rama Consoles His Mother

Rama explained everything to his mother Kaushalya, who spent the whole night in prayer. Kaushalya broke down and said, “Rama when you were born, I thought Gods have blessed me.  I never enjoyed the love of your father.  I was neglected by him. Since then you are the light of my days.  I cannot live without seeing your face, Rama.”

Her frail figure shook with sobbing.  Her lip was uttering “Rama, Rama”.

Rama’s Mother Bless Him

Finally, she accepted for Rama’s departure and blessed him. “In all the fourteen years of your life in the forest, be sure that Dharma (the divine order) and Satyam (truth) will always be with you. You will always be surrounded and protected by them and the Divinity”.

Rama prostrated to her and left her. Lakshmana then shouted, “I will not allow this.  A king should think of what is good for the kingdom and not what suits his favorite wife.  I will just kill him as well as Kaikeyi.”

Rama remained silent. He let him vent his grief, knowing it was sorrow that was expressed as anger and threat.

Rama Explains Speaks About Total Acceptance

You know about Vairagya (determination). We sat at Guru’s feet and learnt. We should implement in life, what we learnt.  Love for me should not resort to violence.  Violence is never Dharma.

You have to help me by letting me go in peace. Anger and grief will make us stagnate.  When we just accept the Divine order, our life is taken care of by the divine. Divine order is the one, which makes our destiny.

It is not that Mother Kaikeyi is evil or that she hates me.  Only that Divine order uses her, even against Kaikeyi’s own nature.  Do you know she is the most wounded of all!

Calm yourself. When disappointment strikes you, think with your intellect and not with your burning emotional part.  What is next?

Accept everything that comes to you. When you accept, you will find innumerable ways to live and do things.  While resisting, all the life doors are closed.

Acceptance is nothing but surrendering.  Surrender! Surrendering alone can allow divine to work for you.  When divinity takes care of your life, you are the most fortunate.

How to attain Peace and Harmony

Whether you agree or disagree with me, just observe what happens around you. Whatever is happening right now is what you need at this moment, because every scene in the drama of life is preparation for the next scene.

Only person without an ego

How one can be without an ego? Unless you shed your identity, you cannot shed your ego. There is only one person who was without an ego. He was Lord Krishna.

He accepted to be the driver of the chariot (in the battle field of Kurukshetra war). We don’t know the difficulties of a driver of a chariot.

In the midst of the war, while fight is going on, you cannot give instructions to the driver, ‘Hey turn left here’ and so on. In the war, Arjuna was sitting above him. How Arjuna did convey the messages to Krishna?

He will place his leg on the left shoulder of Krishna, if the chariot has to be turned left and on the right shoulder, if the chariot has to be turned right.

If you become a chariot driver, will you accept it? However, Krishna accepted it. That is the nature of Divine beings.  He did his work as a charioteer with full devotion.

Running the chariot is Karma Yoga for him. Running it with devotion is Bhakti yoga for him. Because he rode it with so much of dedication, he attained the supreme knowledge (Gnana) in driving the chariot.

That’s why His Gita is Bhagavad Gita.

When the war was over how did Arjuna behave?

That’s the difference between the lord and human beings.

After the war, he told Krishna, ‘I am the warrior. Will you please get down first?”

That’s the protocol in the war.  Krishna replied to him, “War is over. You get down first”.

Arjuna got down first and then Krishna did. The moment Krishna got down from the chariot, it burst into flames. Had Krishna followed the protocol, what would have happened? Arjuna would have been killed in the flames.

TINY is the switch word which fully describes Krishna.

Old slippers can bite

“New slipper will bite” – says a Tamil saying.

However, a lady who can speak only Telugu told me otherwise.

Girija went to a local temple, leaving her old slippers outside the temple premises, when she stood  before the deity, praying, a thought appeared in her mind whether her slippers would be safe; another thought flashed saying, “they will be; who will take these old chappals”.

Strangely, when she returned from the temple, she found her old slippers missing. So, she had to walk a bit under the hot sun, searching for a shoe shop, where she could buy herself new slippers.

Surprisingly, she found her slippers in the entrance of the shop.

I just wanted to tell you here, she could talk to inanimate objects.

She heard her slippers saying, ‘You left me unsafe, thinking I am too old to be stolen. See what I had done for your callousness. Do you understand my value now?”

So, we need to learn to respect inanimate objects also. For example, we throw the container after using all the remedies, without even saying thanks to the container. Don’t do that.

Next time, say thanks to the container or for the matter whatever stuff you use and then dispose them.

Do you know how to surrender?

I tried every other thing that you suggested to move to Singapore but things did not work out.

I understand that God has his own way of doing things that is always for my highest good. Now, given our situation, even though we want to move to India, a part of me tells me to leave it to God and let him guide us.

How do I go about leaving things to God and wanting events to unfold according to Divine will?

“I align with the part of me which surrenders and accepts Divine order”.
“I release the part of me which wants to control any event, resisting the divine order”.

Why can’t I be happy?

I had been trying out all the mantras and switch words you had suggested to me. I had been religiously taking the remedies you had recommended. Yet I am not seeing the results I want.

I still don’t have a good job.  My marriage is in shambles. Neither my parents nor my in-laws are happy about me.

Luckily, I am yet to have kids. Otherwise, I am afraid they will be cursing me too.

My simple question to you is, “Why can’t I be happy and lead a satisfactory life-like others?”

Sorry! I am feeling very skeptical here and feeling much disappointed too.

A Few questions to you first

What is “Thanks”?

What is “Acceptance”?

Why should we accept everything totally – whether what is happening in our life is to our liking or not?

When I am lucky…

I want.

I pray.

I get what I want.

I thank the Divine.

But I forget to pray for others who have not got because of my getting.

When I am not lucky…

I want.

I pray.

But, I am denied.

I feel sad or angry instead of thanking for not getting what I want.

In other words, I am resenting the gift to someone.

This sadness of anger over my not getting is truly resenting others and denying the Divine Order by violating the quantum law:  “All is one. One is all”.

Why can’t I be unhappy, when I fail, you may ask?

When I resent or feel sad, I cannot receive when my turn comes (yes! it comes to you one day for sure).

Therefore, when I am denied, I accept and thank god for giving to someone.

I thank God, because my prayers got someone what he wanted.

Denial to me is a gift to someone who needs more than me.

So I Thank the Divine

Let me feel happy about it.

Let me accept it.

With OPEN HEART and QUIET MIND, I ACCEPT and THANK the DIVINE for anything and everything in my life.

I thank when I receive.

I thank when I am denied, while others receive.

So I Thank the Divine in Advance, for one day, my wants will be fulfilled, my prayers will be answered, and I will receive the gifts I desire as I have understood today that my acceptance and attitude of gratitude at any stage will get me everything, when my turn comes.

I deserve the best!!

Analyze your attitudes behind your purchasing habits

The funny thing is both are opposites. If you want something cheaper then you won’t get the best. Likewise, if you want the best then you won’t get it cheap either.

When will you deserve best?

I deserve the best means then you should not be influenced by anybody else’s decision. When will “I deserve the best” happen?

First, you have to find out when you give something, whether you give it without any inhibition.

4. Ask the question before you give, “Am I giving this without any inhibition?”

We discriminate in our treatment to others

When we attend a wedding, we give some presentation. Whatever we have in our house, we pack it and give it. There is so much inhibition in giving what we have received from somebody else.

Even there we may differentiate from one person to another. Like for example, we might have decided in the mind that this should be given to Mr. A, while we should give something else to Mrs. B. We also quantify while giving, like so much to Mr. A and so much to Mrs. B.

However, we should not do either of them.

Why we don’t deserve the best

Suppose we have some costly item like a silver vessel. We think that it may cost Rs.1000. But, when you weigh the vessel, we find the value to be Rs.5000. So we think this person does not deserve this much costly and therefore we will buy him something else. If these behaviors are present in us then we will not get the best and we do not deserve the best.

How to be deserving for the best

While giving, you must give with full heart. These are the tests given by the Divine. If someone asks money we must give it. But at that time we may not have so much money. At that time you may not be in a position to give him money. Then give him Reiki.

The beggar is not asking for the money, but the divine is…

The beggar may beg for some money from you. The auto driver may demand money from you. There is no difference between the two. If he asks Rs.150 for a trip then give him as the Universe wants the money to go from your hand. Instead, if you hold the amount, eventually you may have to spend 10 times the money in a different way.

Whenever it has to be given, give it. It is not the auto driver who is asking the money, it is not the beggar who is begging for the money. On the other hand, to balance between receiving and giving the Universe is asking from you.

If you develop this kind of attitude, giving will not become prohibitive to you. You will give easily and there will not be any blocks inside you.

Giving on a No-cost Basis

If we have to give at any cost then we can send Reiki by chanting “I AM SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME LOVE THANKS DIVINE”.

However, do not allow others to exploit you

Giving does not mean that you should allow others to cheat you. If someone asks for donation, use your discretion. For paying the auto driver, when you travel occasionally by auto, then do not fight with him, but give him whatever he demands.

Love is the True Reality

1. Reflect on this – ‘Love is the True Reality’.
2. Ask the questions, “Why” and “How”.
3. Think why and how.
4. When you ask the question “Why”, you must get an answer.
5. Then ask the other question “How”?

Why and How Love is the true reality?

You have to do them leisurely. You must ask the question – “Why love is the true reality?” All of us want to be loved first. At that time, self is longing for love. If you see the world, you will know how it has become true.

To understand essence of “I love myself” I have given you this exercise.

We are all connected

We are having our lunch, that food is cooked by some body, somebody is ordering this food. So how many people’s energy is there in the food?

 Somebody is ordering the food to the owner. So he is also connected with the food.

It is connected to the cook, and the packers.

It is connected to the transporter who brings the food.

If he has to come here, there should be a road which is laid by somebody and therefore it is connected to that person.

What is the menu? Let us say rice, and chapatti. So there is rice, wheat, oil etc. Wheat is grown by somebody and sold by somebody.

From there, who brings the wheat and rice to the public?

Not make me feel hungry, so many people are working and so many people are connected. It is the intention of the divine that you should not go hungry which made so many people to work for you.

Do everything with Love

So that is the reality. Whether all of them work with love or not, is a different question!

But what is the motivating factor behind all their work. Is it Divine the motivating force or the love of the Divine that is making all these people work for you?

 We pay the price for this. So you pay it with gratitude. Instead we try to bargain when we want to pay someone. When we go to big shops we pay whatever they say. However, when a person brings green vegetables to our home, we bargain.

It happens because of Love

If we understand “Love is true reality” we will not make such mistakes. Everything is moved in this world because of love. Nothing else other than love moves this world.

If we know this, we definitely will start giving love and we will be definitely be loved by all.

Everything is connected with the web of life – the Divine Web of Love.

We ignore our body, yet it loves us

When a child is born, the date and time is fixed by the Divine.

All the organs of the body, what do they do? They work properly for some time. If we commit some mistake the organ gives us some pain. But it will somehow try to help us.

So, if the body is not there, we are not here. However, we are not giving respect to the body that it deserves. This includes me too.

If we understand that love is the true reality, we can understand how much our body loves us. Somehow it balances, in spite of our mistakes.

Intention is not to Acquire Money

I like your blog. In fact, I wait for new articles but I feel something to say.

My aim is not to hurt anyone but when I read something like ‘We want share from in-laws to purchase property and please tell us some mantra’, I wanted to ask the questions.

After taking their share, you know, in these times, who does care for the parents? How could you know their intention?

Very interesting question!

I need not know the intention. The suggestion of any mantra or Bach flower remedies is not to get the share or what one wants. By chanting the mantra or words, one evolves mentally to have a higher perception.

Let us see the comment below, where they want a share of their in-laws property.

Currently we are facing plenty of problems in our rented house. I need my husband’s share from my in-laws to purchase one on our own. Please suggest remedies so that in-laws should give our share whole-heartedly themselves.

Chant ‘BALSAM, CHICORY’ as many times as possible

The reasons for giving those remedies were:

By chanting Balsam and Chicory, our hearts will open up by going beyond material possessions. As a by-product, one might get their due share too.

Why we need to heal the person instead of directly helping them to acquire their share?

If they don’t get healed then they will face a similar situation in the future or in their next life-time(s). By healing themselves, they will avoid such situations.

When Prahaladha asked Lord Narayanan to give him the blessings of chanting the name of Narayanan always, he was given that blessing along with the boon that his past seven generations as well as his future generations will attain Moksha (heaven). On top of that, he was given the boon to rule his kingdom for 10,000 years.

This is my intention – to heal the person. The rest of the material aspects will follow them automatically, without fail. However, that is not my Intention!!!

You Can Change Your Spouse

My husband has been having extra marital affairs with many women (about 14 to date) for the past 12 years. He gets into a rage when I question him. He sees 3 women on diff days. He makes me miserable and depressed.

He runs his own business. All his customers/friends cover up and book the hotels on their name for him. He tells me he is at a meeting but goes and sleeps with women.

He has divorced me last year and blames me all the time but we are living together for my kids’ sake. He compares me to other women and makes me insecure. He tells me that he can find many super models and sleep with them and I can’t do anything because we are divorced.

I got nothing; I resigned from work last year because I had a nervous breakdown. He is having a complete makeover even to the extent of skin whitening. My in-laws hate me and they’ve been doing black magic to me because they want everything I worked hard for. They are responsible for him being that way. They encourage him to do wrong and they turn my kids against me. My mother-in-law puts things in the food for us to fight but my ex doesn’t see it.

I pray so hard for all those women to get caught with him but I feel I’m not winning. All I want is my husband, kids, peace and happiness back. He must stop sleeping around. Pls help me.

Don’t see anything outside. See within.

Address your emotions. The same emotional state will bring the same results outside. Without changing your state of mind, you cannot affect an iota of change outside in anybody.

Only higher emotions like forgiveness, love will help you.

Your present emotional state, every second alters your inside chemistry and your nervous breakdown vindicates that.

When do our nerves (communication channel) break down? When you ignore the message of the body? You have a nervous breakdown because you are unable to bear what is happening around you.

But your body wants you “to bear”, to endure”. Endurance only will bring in what you want.

Having vengeance will bring in more vengeance. Having hatred will make others hate you more.

“Can they not be taught a lesson?” This thought will teach “you” a lesson.

“Will they not change?” The body asks back to you, “Will you not change?”

“Will I not win?” Win yourself first. Win your emotions and thoughts first. Evolve with higher emotions. You will win.

Life is not a war to win or lose. Life is love – giving and receiving – transaction of love. Give even when you don’t receive. Think anything as an issue to be handled with love. Bring peace to the war going on within.

This alone will help you. Concentrate on something else.

Chant “QUIET MIND, OPEN HEART, RELAX”, daily 1000 times.

Let us have a Bond of Love and Not Anger!!!

Dear Suresh,

I think you are new to this blog.

I am not treating any physical condition. By naming a condition, we maintain that problem. Whatever be the disease, they manifest as symptoms, which only are important to me.

The physical symptoms are true reflectors of our state of mind. The words you use to describe the symptoms are not mere words. They reflect your life pattern. They vindicate the predominant emotion or thought behind the disease.

The healing mantras or Mudras or switch words I suggest will heal and change the internal mind chemistry.

Once you internally change your outlook on the disease changes. This change in the mind brings in awareness and this awareness allows the inner power to work for the divine order which we term as health.

I am suggesting anything to bring in internal change in people.

You have asked me to read Devendra Vora’s book HEALTH IN YOUR HANDS. He has written books on Mudras, Reflexology. Devendra Vora has concentrated on the physical problems only.

My field is different. I am concerned more about changing the mind.

If anybody wants a genuine answer, he is welcome to this blog. I don’t want people to get angry at what I say.

By being in survival emotions, like anger, worry fear sadness, we cannot achieve anything.

How will one get love and affection by being always in a state of anger?

How will one get happiness by being always in a state of blaming?

How will one get peace by always being in a state of worry?

How will one get harmony by always being in a state of quarrel?

If you get angry with me, you are keeping a bond of anger between yourself and me. This may not be good either to you or me.

If at all there is a bond between me and you, let it be a bond of love; let it a be a bond of healing.
